About me
I'm Kon! Welcome to my website! I'm an artist and illustrator pursuing an MFA in Printmaking at Pratt Institute. With a BFA in Illustration from the School of Visual Arts (SVA) in New York City and additional studies in Visual Communication at the Xi’an Academy of Fine Arts, their artistic practice is deeply rooted in both technical craftsmanship and conceptual storytelling.
I specialize in creating illustrations that convey a sense of emotion and storytelling with a unique style. My work combines traditional and digital media, which allows me to create unique, expressive, and aesthetically pleasing illustrations. I am inspired by everyday life and finding beauty in the mundane.
Beyond personal projects, I contributed illustrations to community-driven initiatives, such as the Superkid Project, where they created superhero-themed portraits for children with disabilities. They have also worked as a substitute teacher, sharing their artistic knowledge with students. Actively engaged in the art community, they have volunteered at the Jersey City Art Book Fair and continue to explore collaborative opportunities in illustration, publishing, and gallery work.
I'm always open to new creative ventures, freelance work, and artistic collaborations. Feel free to reach out—let’s create something meaningful together.
